Name: Shaina
Autobiography:
My name is Shaina. I am a college student, layout editor for the college newspaper, and a member of the honor society Phi Theta Kappa. I fill my life up with fun and adventure so I constantly have something to write about.
I want a future in either art or writing, as they are my two passions. When my muse fires up, I either spill the contents out in a sketch or a (usually incomplete) short story. I also want to travel the world. I'd like to actually see the wonders that inspire me every day for real instead of settling for jpegs of the Aurora Borealis, the Great Pyramids or Mt Kilimanjaro.
Nothing is perfect for anyone, but for me things have turned out pretty great. I have the best group of friends a person could ask for, some who are close, some who live far away and some whom I'm still getting to know... but they are all special to me, just the same. I'm also more deeply and truly in love than I ever thought I could possibly be, so as a direct result, I wake up each morning excited about the day ahead of me because of all it has the potential to offer.
I used to try to figure everything out all at once. In a perfect world, everything would be planned and scheduled, with no surprises or twists... but then again, perfect would be boring that way, wouldn't it? I, for one, am glad that nothing is perfect. That gives us choice, appreciation for the good things in life, and most importantly, freedom.
